Citigroup engineers deal for Powell Duffryn plan

Citigroup has agreed to insure liabilities under the Powell Duffryn Pension Plan with Paternoster for £400m. Powell Duffryn, a UK-based engineer, is part of Citigroup’s private equity portfolio and was acquired in January 2008. The pension scheme has close to 7000 members.
