New president of the Singapore Actuarial Society

1 May 2008

Frank McInerny has been elected president of the Singapore Actuarial Society. Mr McInerny is a fellow of the UK Institute of Actuaries and of the Institute of Actuaries in Australia and succeeds Andrew Linfoot, who had held the post since 2004.

In offering his vision for the forthcoming year, McInerny expressed his desire to support the society’s growth as a regional financial centre by contributing to regular technical forums and debate on actuarial issues, and encouraging the development of its student contingent.
