BDO Stoy Hayward buys Wolanski Checkley Fisher
BDO Stoy Hayward Investment Management has bought actuarial firm Wolanski Checkley Fisher in a bid to expand its pensions offering. The wealth management subsidiary of accountancy firm BDO Stoy Hayward said WCF would be integrated into its corporate pensions and benefit services division. WCF has around 30 professionals and staff who will join the current national total of 195 in BDO’s Investment Management business. BDO said the acquisition would enable it to further develop its pensions advisory service as well as its work in related areas such as employer covenant activity.
