Best paper 2005–06

Andrew Cairns (left) FFA was presented with the prize for the best sessional meeting paper in the 2005–06 session by Faculty past president Harvie Brown at the Faculty sessional meeting held at the Merchants’ Hall, Edinburgh on 2 October. Andrew collected the prize on behalf of his co-authors David Blake and Kevin Dowd for their paper entitled ‘Living with mortality: longevity bonds and other mortality-linked securities’.
